Hi there "M"! Here's the video I promised to show you:This is a good example of SOFT and supple riding in full harmony. Marcus Schneider is one of Bent Branderup's foremost students. Only 29 years old, he has his own training stable and practice expression ahead of perfection. Words from C.
Hi there "S"! These are the photos I talked about last time and now I'm posting them for you:Here are photos of a spanish horse. Actually a P - R - E. The owner told me that these horses are bred to have their hind legs camped under (positioned more under the body) in order to make it easier for the horse to step in under and carry the rider correctly. I have never heard about this before! In my opinion, it looks slightly camped under. The front legs looks like calf knees (sabelbenad) and the hind show sickle hocks (kohasighet). I have to read the race standard - anyone that knows if this is what we want to achieve in a P-R-E? (This was a very OLD stallion and apparently a bit underweight)

MORE SNOW!!! MÁS NIEVE!!!
Photos taken by my mother / Fotos de mi madre
Please enlarge them to see how bad it really is! / Por favor, ampliar, para ver lo malo que es!
The road outside / La calle fuera
The fence surrounding the garden / La valla que rodea el jardín
The garden / El jardín
This is 'my' cow at the beach in the summer / 'Mi' vaca en el verano:
The very same place now / Lo mismo lugar ahora:
The ROAD (where you go by car) down to the beach:
The library is closed due to snow on the roof and the risk that the roof will collapse:
On of all the trucks that transport snow from the city:
Xose>> Por supuesto he tenía los caballitos dentro de la casa haha, que mala suerte no tengo fotos digitales en este situación. Aqui estan Igor y Likör (Liquor en inglés), se pueden subir las escaleras y entrar en la casa. Tienen su dehesa directamente en relación con la terraza y la puerta de la casa. Mi padre esta muy feliz tiene los caballitos tan cerca :)

Poor dressage
Dressage at it's best, no force what so ever on the reins. Suppleness. Harmony. This is what it should look like in my opinion. I don't know what's going on in modern dressage, I can't really say that it has "developed", at least not in a good way, take a look!
Pictures from the group Blue Tongue world cup warm up video on facebook, most pictures courtesy of Matilde Goul Dueholm.
Depicted is Moorlands Totilas:
Comment from FB around the pic, I couldn't have said it better myself: "The neck is short and tight, where is the extended frame required at extended trot?, why is the rider and saddle half way up his neck? why is there a big hollow behind the saddle?, why is the horse sweating so profusely?, why is the rider in waterski position?
We need to learn to look at the whole picture - all of this shows us he is trained using rollkur, not just whether or not he is in this actual moment.
This is an extremely talented rider on an extremely talented horse but nevertheless many of the signs are still there and all of them are signs of incorrect work according to the FEIs own rules-and yet this horse is being marked with 9s and 10s."
Another dressage equipage:
Depicted is a danish warmblood stallion, diagonal pairs not matching, weight on forehand. Look at the hocks!
The pictures speak for themselves:
It's truly awful and quite amazing how this is allowed to proceed!
Entire weight on the pelham bit. I actually read that a famous danish woman competing in show jumping, teaches to tighten the noseband tight enought - so the horse can't breath properly, which makes it easier to turn the horse around. GREAT!
Ring pulling the corners of the mouth upward.
"Depicted a horse in the warm up arena, show jumping. Gas pedal in the side, brakes in the front. Good ol show jumpers with their ever more inventive bits to elicit furthur control on a horse they've never bothered to school correctly....as bad as anky leaning back on her curb bit horizontal to the ground." - couldn't have said it better myself!
Sad!

Snow!
We have had A LOT of snow here in Denmark! It was another snowstorm and in one evening it fell ca 10-20cm!!! We had just shoveled the snow away and the next morning we had almost as much AGAIN!
I am SO tired of this shit!
Hey Xose! Digame!
